It's hard to find good tasting protien bars. But these are actually great. Just tried the pb&j kind. Like $3 a bar but well worth it.

And it satisfies the candy bar craving too.

they're ok. a bit low on the calorie/protein ratio, for me.

I tend to stick with Quest, though tbh I've been shying away from protein bars altogether for a while

I workout enough to be able to eat them. Also 30 grams of protein is a nice addition.

Are sugar alcohols bad for you? I read that they don't spike your blood sugar but they can make you fart or shit a lot

There's been an extensive research on artificial ones like sucralose, Acesulfame potassium and aspartame. From increasing your appetite, to making you more likely to get diabetes, higher blood pressure, and affect the microbes in your gut to increase cancee risk and bowel movements.

Natural ones like Ethyritol, Stevia and monk fruit haven't been studied as much, but too much of it i'm sure has negative side effects. I eat a lot of protein bars (1-2 a day) and other low carb stuff including ice cream, and i notice it affects my stool.

Not really if you workout you need the protein. And they are an excellent source of it. Actually alot of guys eat protein bars. Nothing new there buddy.

Yeah protein bars especially those quest bars taste so nasty, they have like an unnatural sweetness that doesn't taste right.

But I dont know how else to get a high amount of protein if I point blank can't consume protein shakes.

I had those gummy bears like two months ago. Anything described as sugar free but replaced with malitol, i would stay away the fuck away from. Lots of cheap protein bars have them.

Quest bars were my go to for several years, but i stopped after. They changed their formula and made it taste worse (has soluble corn fiber asa. Substitute now), and eating more than one a day will make you go to the bathroom a lot
