We have access to better diet options, so body builders today would own ancient humans. In looks or toughness? Even the avg person lived in and could survive barbaric conditions. --- The Evil Republicans - Est.2004 - WoT [Government Destabilizing Branch] ... Copied to Clipboard!

Anyways thats a poor argument cause they are an exception as they are a small portion of society. The average person from ancient times would likely body the average modern person. We live lives of convenience and have grown soft thanks to it. Now we wanna talk military (even stripping weapons to make it fair) I think modern would win just on tactics/strategy and probably better over all martial Arts knowledge/training in general --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" The average person from ancient times would likely body the average modern person. We live lives of convenience and have grown soft thanks to it. It varies by culture, from both ancient times and now. If you're amerifat, sure, you couldn't stand up to anyone. But an average healthy person is gonna be significantly taller, and, because of better nutritional understanding and access to modern medicine, stronger and more durable. Humans didn't break the meta by being tough. Our Neanderthal cousins were actually better than us overall, but they were more solitary and needed more resources to build their better bodies. We won by outbreeding the death rate. --- evening main 2.4356848e+91 https://youtu.be/Acn5IptKWQU ... Copied to Clipboard!

Im still sure when it comes to physical prowress they where still better than the average of today just bases on the tougher conditions they lived under. Being able to live longer because we have better nutrition and medical science is another story. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!" I mean this stuff is measurable. I'm sure the farm boys from the past can whoop some of the pasty guys now, but in general, people are a lot bigger now iirc.

Humans have always been squishy so saying ancient humans were tougher isn't actually going to make that big of a difference. The human that survives is the one that is resourceful and the average human today can still survive barbaric conditions. If a person's survival is at stake, they'll learn quickly and if they already have some basic modern knowledge that gives them an advantage. At the very least they might survive something that would definitely kill an ancient human, simply because we know more now.

Im extremely confident they had more physical strength stamina etc. The average human today is not only weaker they aint the combat experts you think they are. Im comparing average dude vs average dide here without considering the smaller subsets of liie military or martial artists. --- Cid- "looks like that overgrown lobster just got served!"
