Yeah someone at work showed me this because she had to take a class to put all that shit together. I was like.... You don't know shit about computers, and most of that is lost on me because there's a lot of electrical engineering involved. I'm just gonna get it to step up my game.

It's one thing to screw in a motherboard, hard drive, and graphics card. I wanna know how it all goes down.

That's a lot more reasonably priced than I thought it would be, always wanted to learn more about electronics and shit like that. I'd totally give this a crack.

I usually build these wood models that are pre-cut but require gluing and wax for friction and whatnot, ones like this.



A lot of them have basic electronics you can build, like this one drives on a track, some steam, some are solar powered, some are wind up. Takes like 10 to 30 hours to put one together depending on how big they are. I have a pretty cool Mars rover one that's solar powered and it will put around if built right, still gotta build it.

Honestly, it's the same concept, except yours is a much smaller scale. First one I got in a loot crate box and it was a small, snap together R2D2 that took me like an hour to build, but had fun with it, so I kept buying bigger ones and bigger ones that had more to them. Gotta be in the mood to work on one though, I go in and out of it.

Yup. I'll be going into this lost, but it has some tutorials and shit. It's just to learn the basics. It's a voluntarily added supplement to my education that someone I know is paying like $2000 for.

I went to college and it helps to an extent, but I like to learn shit outside of my field just for fun.....

For sure, I get the same way, taught myself a lot of carpentry stuff just with youtube and hands on building crap in the yard. At some point i'm gonna learn something about car engines, i'm very ignorant to basically everything to do with cars outside of very basic maintenance.

My landlord did a bunch of wiring in the parking lot himself and called an electrician to come finish up and I'm listening to them talk and then dude said he can't legally work on it and sorry man.... and for the last half hour I've been listening to my landlord keep rambling at him as he desperately tries to get in his van and leave. Its pretty fun.

At one point I was looking to expand on my porch back when I lived near Atlanta, and something about the existing length of the nails, and they had to be entirely replaced before they would even touch it. Anything that could involve them with work that violates code can be fines and whatnot, doesn't matter how much you plead and reason with them.

Similar thing happened with us when we wanted to expand our back porch. Something about the way it was built made it very good quality but unable to be expanded upon. It would have to be rebuilt completely. That was not $12k we were interested in spending.

My grandma had critically low potassium. That's what was going on with her I guess. They put a thing in her that will give her potassium for about 4 hours then I go back
