anyway it comes from car moguls back at the turn of the century running newspaper articles tying people walking in the street, a perfectly acceptable thing back before cars were invented and shit drivers couldn't help but run over pedestrians, to a derogatory term used to describe the those who couldn't follow commons sense laws. coincidentally the original term was jay-driver, describing a shit driver who couldn't resist speeding down the street and plowing people out of their way... --- Taarsidath-an halsaam. It's only illegal/enforced in certain parts really and it makes sense in densely populated areas with lots of foot traffic and cars.
