Looked gf 08/15/21 9:13:36 PM #1:	Columbus police officers were sent to the 2500 block of Pearl Street at 12:45 p.m. Friday about a report that a woman was being attacked by two dogs, both believed to be pit bull mixes. The officers were initially unable to approach the victim due to the aggressive dogs being nearby and had her back her vehicle up a short distance to a nearby ambulance so she could be transported to the hospital, Harris said. LANDLORD didn't know about tenant's pitbulls: The victim advised the officers that she was the landlord for the rental home where the attack occurred and didnt realize that the tenant had the two dogs The woman had several significant dog bites, including two to her neck, and others elsewhere on her body, police said. She was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital, but her condition is unknown at this time. DOG was shot by officer after attacking an animal care worker: The second dog was located a short time later and lunged and attempted to attack the Columbus Animal Care Services worker who was attempting to restrain it, Harris said. A CPD officer discharged his firearm one time to stop the attack on the Animal Care Services worker, Harris said.
