Only 49 of those students were actually registered for classes however as it a spokesperson said the other 189 may not have been planning to return anyway University policy states all students living, learning or working on the UVA campus must be fully vaccinated against the virus to participate in the school year but will offer medical and religious exemptions hwoever those must be approved prior to on campus arrival The entire staff has to be vaccinated as well.
