You know sometimes people forget they aren't hiding behind a keyboard. I was at a steakhouse recently. This party nearby was talking about one of their mothers being hospitalized for some sort of issue. They mentioned the mother was obese. The lady's boyfriend makes some remark saying "well your mom should've taken better care of herself then." Everyone just flipped out like they were about to beat this guy and he took off.

So what's the problem? He insulted her weight? Why didn't anyone come to her defense? Could it be the fact that this particular person has spent most of her life in the spotlight as an aspiring comedian and actress who is best known for a role in the television sitcom 'The Jeffersons'?

If she could've handled her brother in one way or the other, what if he didn't feel the need to be insulting? What if she's done this to him before? And I'm not talking about doing a comedy routine about him and his weight, or anything negative. I'm talking about the fact that she's not talking to him, or he's getting the cold shoulder and he's not willing to talk to her.

Would you still be so hurt, if a male sibling had done the same thing? Do you call up and curse at them? Do you make them feel so bad that it made you come to terms with the fact that you're going to let them know exactly what you think? No.

The closest to that in my adult life would be one of my coworkers clearly trying to enact some PUA or "alpha masculinity" self-help book by trying to assert himself over other people in an overt and unusual way, because of a new hot coworker. I don't even remember what I told him when he tried to "challenge" me, but the girl laughed and he stormed off real pissy like. Later got fired for a different, but related reason.

Worst part is that the girl was a temp. She wasn't even going to be in town that long.

No. Realistically, people seldom get what they deserve. That's why it makes for a good story. Everyone is like "yeah I know a guy like that. His day is coming, I can feel it." Then his day does indeed come, and so does he, inside your wife.
