I don't think it's as cut and dry as "oh he went along with it all these years, so he must be cool with it." He kinda didn't have a choice but to go along with it. It's a thing that exists and has his name attached whether he likes it or not. I don't blame him for having mixed feelings. I'm sure sometimes it has been cool to be the Nevermind baby.
