Playing through it right now and I just want it to fucking end. Sometimes characters are a little dim for the sake of the plot in this series, but come on. It's so fucking obvious that it was Shinguji and not Himiko who did this. "Oh Himiko chose the room, therefore she's the culprit." No, you fucking morons. Maki, why are you buying this crap? This is a Kaito-level crap purchase. It's blatantly obvious that the murderer is the guy who suggested the seances. You don't even need to bring up Kokichi getting his face slammed into the floorboard in the other room just to take that as an assumption. The mere idea that anyone could predict that the death of Angie would lead to a ouija board meeting, that it would happen in that one specific room, that the subject of the channelling would sit in that exact position, that they would turn the light off completely to give them a chance to act, other than the dude who suggested the whole thing and knew how to perform the chanelling is just fucking absurd. I don't care that "anyone could have read about it" in his room. The fact that this is even questioned, much less seriously considered is worse than having to prove that Kyoko isn't a ghost.

There's a bunch of other things in the case, like the whole seesaw meme, the ruination of one of my favourite characters, the third repetition of case 3s being double homicides, the known fact that they all die if they don't find Angie's killer yet they still focus entirely on Tenko without much thought on how to connect the two, and Angie being really underserved as a character. But the fact that the majority of the trial is just treating me like I'm stupid is just the most obnoxious thing. Even in the third case in the first game, which feels very similar, even though it was obvious that Celeste did it, I can still understand how the characters needed to work their way through the overcomplicated plot she had set up. In comparison there's nothing to this case. It's so obviously Shinguji and everyone's being a moron. Kodaka should apologize for this case.

Yumeno is the worst one though
