Lol this is just going to piss players off because all this does is make teams obsolete for the end game and they have been revolving the new abyss around the banner characters for a while now.

so here comes Kokomi which was blasted for being too weak, now will be forced upon players to 36* abyss.

instead of making unique and challenging content, we are getting DPS races that will require healers that will hurt DPS.

It's their own fault for ignoring the healer role and trashing Qiqi, Barbara.
And IMO Mihoyo isn't making anyone obsolete. Venti is a great example, they gave people a reason to use other chars over him by adding pull-resistant enemies, but he still makes your life a lot easier by pulling enemies he can pull.
Mihoyo doesn't want people to completely ignore any banner chars just for their role.

Knowing there is a healer on banner was a red flag, so people knew healing would become important from this banner on.

Qiqi can if you sacrifice field uptime and you can just switch+hit to tag heal quickly too.

This is literally the dumbest thing but Kokomi has the same issue so if you're looking for jellyfish salvation you won't find it

You cant really Zhongli against the wolfs though. The enemies can deal true damage which means shield piercing

As far as the description says Kokomi's skill applies hydro only to herself and I saw a leaker say the application has 0.1sec duration or something.
What makes Barbara's skill dangerous is she constantly applies hydro (4-5 times?)

was at 45 pity and had about 68 fates, so decided to try rolling for baal. at least if i didn't get her, i'd get a guranteed kokomi on the next banner and could save whatever rolls i had lave left.

Just saying, if MiHoYo keeps true to their promise of reintroducing healers to team comps, Jean will be by far the best thanks to her cleanse and anemo

Oh spiral. I don't bother with that. It's not fun and the rewards aren't enough for it to be compelling content. Maybe if you got a full 10 roll out of it or something i'd do it.

Sure it does. Using a meta team on world content/quests is fun. Using non meta teams and killing mobs/bosses at substantially slower rates is not fun.

Don't fully agree there. Lots of the combat events like those triple boss domains are pretty hard to get the top scores without a solid meta.

oh i know, it's not really bad. i do use jean, and now i know when i go for kokomi i don't have to worry about 50/50. still got 30 fates leftover too.

Jean was the last of the "Standard" five-stars that I got, and I remember getting kind of mad because it was a lost 50/50. But then I built her and realized she's one of the most useful characters in the entire game. For lack of a better description, she's kind of a 5-Star Noelle in that she's a jack of all trades, but what sets Jean apart is her unique and, frankly, woefully underutilized gimmicks like her charged attack making enemies weightless (and Venti-able) and her Ult causing cleanse and swirl.

With all that said, Noelle is a better Main DPS and her hypercarry scaling is pretty amazing if you're willing to put a lot of investment into her.

If you're running the Noblesse domain and you get all the mages near each other and proc her ult their shield are gone in a second. I love running her there

Eh, it gets boring just mindlessly mowing down everything. I prefer using slightly less than meta teams that are weak enough to keep things interesting but not so weak that it starts feeling like a slog.

There's never anything valuable that you get from having the highest score though. The good prizes are always front loaded, so that the highest scores only give you cosmetic items like name cards or a small number of easy to get materials. It's essentially just bragging rights.

I honestly think there's true depth to Tartaglia's character. His denied childhood in the Abyss, his love for his family, his genuine friendship with the Traveler. He even implies, multiple times, that he's more on your side than the Harbingers' side.

He says that because none of the other harbingers challenged him in combat the way Traveler did. To him, traveler is the one to beat to prove he's the strongest now.
