Were currently planning to get married in May or June 2023 so we have plenty of time but weve started planning and Jesus Christ, all the stuff to think about.

I have my bestman, my fianc got his bestwoman and we have a toastmaster/dinner host.

We are pondering how many to invite and who to invite. This is almost most important since most venues have both a minimum and a maximum number of guests. So we need to settle for a number so we can decide on the venue. And there are so many different types of venues! Do we want one where we can have the ceremony AND the dinner/party or one place for the ceremony and another for the dinner/party? What type of food? Drinks? Dancefloor? Priest? Not a priest? Music? Cake?

Thanks!
And it for sure feels like one of those events which can make the calmest person alive freak out haha.

Thank you!
We feel confident it will turn out great and we are thankfully on a fairly similar page on what we want. Im willing to compromise on a lot as long as I get strong say over the food and the cake though. Im a food lover and always hungry lmao.

You should get an agency to help out. If you find a very good one, they'll help you make the right choices and won't cost you much if anything.

I like big weddings; I've officiated one as well

It depends on how much of a party you want it to be. Outdoor rural with sleeping arrangements is very in and a lot more affordable than a destination wedding. Personally I like doing the 'after' at the same place as the wedding; everyone is already there after all.
