Hunters avoid fights unless it's absolutely necessary, since the risk of injury means that they can't hunt and therefore they'd die. As a hunter, a leopard would catch the pibble when it's unaware or asleep and go nom nom nom on it. As a fight, the leopard would just flee. Unless it were a cage. I suspect the leopard would try to avoid the fight and then attack if it feels the pibble will bite. I guess a leopard could take 3 pibbles.
