Rick picked out a slice of infinity pie that only contained universes where the one constant thing is that he's the smartest man in the universe.

Morty broke that wall down, so Rick is no longer the smartest man in the universe

If ya'll don't care about watching the entire season, the last two episodes are all you need to watch. And even then, the penultimate episode just sets up the very start of the last one.

Honestly, the episodes are pretty hilarious so far, especially the semen one because of how topical it is.
