I was getting out of 3rd period spanish class when I heard about it in the hall, then in my global studies class (either 4th or 5th period I can't remember), we didn't have class and the teacher just took us to watch the news in another room

I know what I was doing but it's kinda mundane.

Indeed, I had what in retrospect is a really weird conversation. I was walking to school and someone said "hey! did you hear that some airplanes crashed into some building in the US" and my response was "oh, that happens kinda all the time... whatever" cuz AT THE TIME I thought he just meant something like a tarmac accident, a crash landing, an elevator jam or something like that.

I didn't find out until later that day that it was an impact no where near an airport!

I was home sick from school and I came downstairs and asked my dad why he wasn't at work and he told me a plane crashed into the Pentagon. He didn't work there but he did work in DC.
