I know this arc saw a lot of different hands at the helm.


The design of the villain himself just screams 90s! to me.


Whats great is how this arc saw so many heroes become symbiotes. It was a huge event.


Youve Been Knullified ~ XD haha, its so juvenile & edgy I get why they went there.


Some beautiful artwork came out of this saga. Did you buy their origin story for the symbiotes?

Hey man, I enjoyed this arc, but maybe Im biased. Still, its gotta be worth checking out. Total maddness lol

Knull is a primordial deity that came into being following the destruction of the sixth iteration of the cosmos, and was originally content to drift through the endless void until the Celestials arrived and began creating the 7th iteration of the Marvel Universe. Awakened by the "Light of the Creation" and outraged by his kingdom of darkness being despoiled, Knull retaliated by creating All-Black the Necrosword and killing one of the Celestials. Seeing this, the other Celestials banished Knull and the severed head deeper into the Void. He then used the head to forge the symbiote and combined it with the cosmic energies of the head, which would eventually become Knowhere. In doing so, he unintentionally gave the symbiotes their weaknesses to sonic attacks and fire. He created a symbiote armor and, with All-Black, started killing the other deities, until he crash-landed on an unnamed planet where Gorrtook All-Black from the incapacitated Knull.

I wonder what Knull would look like in the MCU or Sonys pictures.

Having a whole Phase about the symbiotes would really be a dream come true for me. Theyre among my favorite Marvel villains.

I recommend it as kind of a way to branch out into the various comics nowadays and just see whats been going on lately a little bit. As an old school comic book reader, it doesnt feel right just leaving them in the dirt like that. So, Cosmic Carnage was a great excuse to get back into the scene for a quick sec & see what alls happened since Ive been gone XD

Its basically Dark Souls XD A cyclic universe of creation and destruction, in the beginning there was nothing and then there were gods and humans and theres a lucifer analogue who slew a giant, eventually being banished to the abyss. From that came a terrible corruption of chaos with slime warping demons and cauliflower dragons possessing people and spreading, infecting the globe, when he broke free, with a magical sword, until he was sealed away again lol.

Knull is part evolution, part allegory, part metaphysics, part action villain XP. A Chimera. Definitely bizarre hehehe. Sort of some Dracula vibes maybe. I for one was highly amused to pop in around then.
