In one of the bible study things, I remember our pastor telling us that God tends to work through earthly means. For example, that common story about a man refusing all help from people during a flood. Then he dies, gets to heaven, asks God why God didn't save him, and God tells him that he DID help. That he sent boats and helicopters, but the guy refused them all. And again, this was a church that believed the entire Bible had to be taken literally. So using that logic, you could absolutely argue that masks and the vaccine are sent from God to save people from this pandemic.
