Not much action or strategy, just occasional skilled kicks and rare goals. (Holds it...holds it!...HOLDS IT!) Hockey: faster soccer. Basketball: a little better, more obviously skilled plays and more action...but there aren't really any HUGE plays. And the first 80% of the game doesn't much matter in a good game. The last 20% can be fun. Baseball: at it's best baseball can be great with high-stakes showdowns, etc. But there's a looot of non-high-stakes time. It's OK for watching in the background while you do something else, waiting for an exciting inning. Football: the most varied sport by far. You can see the strategy, and big plays can happen at any moment. And as a bonus you can also watch it without spending $100/month on sports TV. --- Pronounced "Whup-pot". Say it.
