The context of the verse clearly is more complex than "rich people bad". Yet TC (and many others with a disingenuous ulterior motive) act as if means exactly that, nothing more and nothing less.

Yes, because it's pointing out a contradiction in their beliefs, not attacking the people themselves. On the other hand, if this topic had said the kinds of things about Christians that you wish you could say about Islam, I'm sure this account would be experiencing its first karma loss very soon.

You are not the first person to use this exact argument and the argument is never used in good faith.

There's no way you read that verse and all you got from it was "rich people are going to hell." That could include almost every single person alive today because in general we are much better off than people living 2000 years ago (/s by the way). But the main concern is that your argument is just disingenuous.

How the hell is "it's easier for something that's physically impossible to happen, than for a rich man to get into Heaven" able to be interpreted any other way than "rich people are going to Hell"?

At a stretch you could make an argument that it doesn't include rich women but that's about the only room for interpretation it leaves, unless there's something lost in translation (in which case feel free to clarify that).
