There will be one cutscene with some basic exposition, then you make your character, then you just play the fucking game. Great stuff.

There's often a super quick tutorial mission in there too. It's not as bad as the multi hour boring ones that many other games have though. They're like less than ten minutes in fromsoft stuff.
