Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) complained on Monday that House rules prevented her from making a motion to adjourn before the daily prayer and Pledge of Allegiance had been completed.

Greene revealed the grievances in a speech on the House floor.

"This government is failing the American people," Greene opined. "And more votes we take this week are going to continue to fail the American people. And this is why I walked in here this morning to make a motion to adjourn. But then I was told I couldn't make a motion to adjourn because we hadn't said the prayer or the pledge."

Aren't daily prayers and the pledge of allegiance the kind of things your party would want to force on public school children, Jewish Space Laser Lady?

She's complaining that she has to do her job. She's trying to say that Dems passing bills is bad, but what she's saying is that Congress doing its job is bad. Instead of pushing reforms or bringing up issues, she just wants to waste as much time as possible. It's literally stupid person, "I'm going break, fuck everyone else" logic.

She literally does nothing. She lost her position on any committee she was on, and she only ever sponsors legislation to impeach Biden or shit like that. It's why she has so much free time to shitpost and accost people.
