But I would say Fevers and Mirrors is my favorite album probably. My favorite song is At the Center of the World. I love all of their albums besides People's Key. Maybe I should try listening to it again. I've been listening to BE since I was 13, so it's been 16 years for me, and even though I've heard every song hundreds of times they never get old. I like the rawness of his Collection album too. The new album, I've tried to listen to it a couple of times and it didn't really hit me, but eventually I'll try again. I enjoy Conor's solo work as well, and his album with Phoebe Bridgers. peoples key is the only release I flat out dislike I think

and yeah Ive never heard of Fevers and Mirrors being anything but a fan favorite but I was at least attempting to humor the point above

The first Bright Eyes song I've ever heard was Lover I Don't Have to Love. That's where my love for the band started. But I would say Fevers and Mirrors is my favorite album probably. My favorite song is At the Center of the World. I love all of their albums besides People's Key. Maybe I should try listening to it again. I've been listening to BE since I was 13, so it's been 16 years for me, and even though I've heard every song hundreds of times they never get old. I like the rawness of his Collection album too. The new album, I've tried to listen to it a couple of times and it didn't really hit me, but eventually I'll try again. I enjoy Conor's solo work as well, and his album with Phoebe Bridgers. It's great that he went from a raw emo melancholy sound to somewhat folkish and has managed to keep making consistent good music.
