She shared the eerie set up on tiktok which has millions of views so far as she captioned it "This is the weirdest apartment complex i've iever seen" The windowless hallway has a total of 10 balconies, 5 on each side that are located above the entryway doors and face each other People noticed it looked like something out of a scary movie as she amped up the creepiness by setting a video to a sound effect from the Amityville Horror.... Indoor balconies aren't bad in theory obviously, but I think they'd need some kind of interesting room for them to be worthwhile. The way they are, I'm not sure what value one would get from using them. I'm struggling to see a reason why that's "creepy" yet having outdoor balconies spaced the same way - i.e. adjacent buildings having a similarly small corridor between them - is not. It looks like this might've been an outdoor setup that was converted to indoor mid-construction. I don't have a balcony at my apartment but I'd love to have one, and it would be kind of cool to be able to talk to neighbors that way. What's exactly wrong with your neighbor seeing you reading a book, sipping a margarita, or playing on your Switch outside? It's not like they're watching you dress or anything. Those comments are just people overreacting.
