Had to look up who the Die Another Day villain was, aka "the guy who literally race-swapped solely for the sake of a twist that no one would see coming." So definitely Gustav Graves.

And not gonna lie, even though Quantum of Solace fell majorly flat, I actually kinda liked Dominic Greene, or just the simple fact that he could barely hide being pants-pissingly petrified of Bond whenever he was within fifty feet of him. It was oddly refreshing that a villain was fully aware from the get-go of how badly Bond could and would fuck him up. It's not something I'd want to become the norm for a Bond villain by any means, but it was a neat one-off change of pace.

I actually agree. Their final fight was great if only to watch Greene swing that axe around for dear life.

The fight between Dominic Greene is amazing in concept for the idea of a dork utterly and completely out of his league being forced to fight James Bond hand to hand and it ending terribly for him. If it wasnt edited as bad as the rest of the action in that movie I think it would be one of my favorites

I voted Stromberg because hes barely even in his movie but Graves comes close

Greene was fighting like a raging mad man.

Hard to counter regardless of ones fighting skills.

I like Whitaker. I like the idea of a guy who was expelled from West Point for cheating is a big military fanboy and arms dealer. The guy is one big fake. He has statues of history's greatest conquerors, but with his face on every one. He plays around with models pretending to be a general. Joe Don Baker played that character very well. It's a different kind of villain. Koskov wasn't bad either as a slimy multi-traitor.

Dominic Green might be the worst because I can't even remember a single thing about him besides having that one henchmen with that STUPID haircut. At least Gustav Graves was memorable and had some good moments. Even some of the more boring villains (Kristatos/Stromberg) had their moments. Green had nothing. QOS had nothing.

Julian Glover has the distinction of being the most forgettable villain in Star Wars, James Bond, and Indiana Jones.

I get the sense that he's a good actor. He's just never given characters with any substance or bite.

Lol. The way he was introduced was so good, bragging about not needing any sleep. He just oozed douchiness.

I loved how they kept upgrading their weapons during the sword fight.

I don't get the Gustav Graves hate, he was a fun villain. Yes, the twist was nonsense, but everything else was fun.

tbh, that's also what made the Russian kid from John Wick so good. Chickenshit villains are more fun at times. However, as far as villains go, Greene was also kinda underwhelming.
