She said "I wanted to take a moment and let you know that i honestly do not know what the future holds for me as far as my career here at WLOX. And i just felt that i owed it to you...to take a moment while i had an opportunity to say thank you for allowing me into your homes for the past several years. I've had a wonderful 18 year career here and i'm very grateful for every moment of it. Thank you so much" For the first time in 14 years she was not featured and explained why stating "My father has always taught me: Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. I've always lived by it, but in this particular instance, there are a lot of people watching. That's why i feel compelled to relay the truth and explain why you won't be seeing me anymore. I am not vaccinated and therefore i am no longer eligible for employment at Gray Television or any of their stations. Before i go further, let me make it clear, i'm not here to spark debate over the vaccine. I respect an individual's decision to get vaccinated. I believe one of the greatest things about being an American is enjoying certain rights, including those pertaining personal health decisions. Before GrayTV mandated this policy, i made an informed and prayerful decision to not get the vaccine" She said she SURVIVED COVID already and said it's a personal decision for her and says to choose between their livelihood or a vaccination is a dangerous precedent and said she tried everything possible to keep her job and offering to do weekly testing but they were denied and said it hurts sayin goodbye but she knows in her heart it was the right decision because nobody knows what's in these vaccines and she doesn't want to end up in the wrong years later when side effects will occur.. She finished it off with "I may have lost my job, but i preserved my integrity and my devotion to God and that he is on my side watching over me" Her statement echoes other people getting fired over mandatory vaccinations as companies continue to fire people who refused the vaccinations including meteorologist, Karl Bohank in Michigan and KY3 Reporter, Linda Simmons Will you comply if there's mandatory vaccinations at your workplace or if there's places you want to go to? https://i.imgur.com/AVjzraJ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/dLLBZGH.jpg https://i.imgur.com/xQ7IxXQ.jpg https://i.imgur.com/CN6cTid.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OkAvWZz.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ZHYmTSb.jpg --- The News Will Continue...For Now call me mrduckbear, sweater monkeys. I got my Pfizer shots months before my workplace required them.
Screw the anti-vaxxers. This is a problem we allowed to fester for decades and it's biting us in the ass now. I recall tons of articles about "religious" / "philosophical" waivers for vaccines in various states long before this pandemic. Never should've been a thing to begin with. They shouldn't get unemployment for their terminations, either. ... Copied to Clipboard!
