If you post them without any further context, the obvious assumption is that you believe there's a connection between the numbers and the trait being compared - and specifically want to draw attention to it. It's not at all unreasonable to think you're specifically implying causation rather than simply correlation (which is more likely the actual case with the numbers you're talking about), even.

Now, given your usual posting habits, what could the explanation for this possibly be?

How do you propose to improve it? 90% of all marks get no actioned for being non-violations, and 90% of the time when I see people bitching about a post that actually is a violation not being modded it's been less than 24 hours since being marked or it just simply wasn't marked. Occasionally a post will get moderated faster, but it doesn't happen all the time...

The way to improve the system is to get better users to mark posts...

Nah, I don't think that there's any inherent obvious assumption to be made. Any assumption is the product of the reader's mind, not the author's. For example, if you think that Skeeter is black because he beat-boxes, that's your mind linking stereotypes together.

You aren't going to post statistics that show a certain correlation with no further context if your intent is to argue the opposite. Nor are you going to leave off any context if you're trying to argue there's something deeper at play.

That only leaves one possible intention.

Maybe you genuinely believe the conclusion you're hinting at; maybe you know damn well that correlation is not causation but just want to cause tension. I wouldn't know. But either way, we both know damn well that you are fully intending to hint at said conclusion, and are simply hoping to do so in a way that doesn't technically break any rules / standards.

More on the admins, and they have decided that as long as someone isn't breaking the rules, they can come back. It's far easier of a solution.

So we have complaints that violations aren't being handled, I mention that most of the time they aren't marked, meaning we have trouble getting one user to mark them, and you want to make it take two to even show up in the queue?

That's not what he said... He said posts with the most marks should simply go to the front of the queue. And why would you spend 45 minutes reading disingenuous marks from an obvious troll anyway

Did anyone ever answer how they think the queue should be changed?

I've always thought it should work on a priority system. Assign invisible points to certain attributes and raise or lower the marked message in the queue accordingly. Posters who constantly mark posts that get no action'd get lower priority. Posts that are marked by many posters get higher priority. Post priority raises as it sits in the queue so as not to get pushed down too far.
This is how most IT ticketing systems should work, it makes sense to me for GameFAQs' to work similarly. It's essentially a customer service issue (attended by unpaid volunteers).

Common complaints:
1) "But then people would group up to mark posts they don't like."
So what? If the posts are no action'd those users will eventually have a lower priority. If those posts get action'd, then the post needed to be removed. Working as intended.
2) "But posts will wait too long in queue."
This is a problem with the number of messages marked, not their priority. Ideally this will make it easier and faster to see legitimately marked messages and have appropriate actions, lower priority messages are either on very slow boards (sorry) or not seen as an issue by most users. This will also make it easier to identify problem markers and act appropriately (notify them to cool down, punish them, or ignore their marks).

Mods and admins and quibble about the details, but I think that's a good basic structure rather than FIFO.

So you've literally never taken a statistics course, if you think numbers can't be used for an agenda.

It's pretty easy to fudge the data, my social work statistics/research course had a whole section on ethical statistical reporting.
