I made a topic about this girl a couple years ago. She got out of a nasty relationship in 2018. Due to her and I talking a lot, I was the expected successor for her next boyfriend. However, when she told me she wasn't ready for a relationship yet, I was cool with it. I'm fine with waiting until she is ready, and again, I'm the expected successor so I didn't mind.
However, she betrayed her promise by dating this other guy. I was pissed. Not only was I expected to succeed her bad bf from 2018, but she didn't tell me about this other guy at all. Due to her being in a relationship, there was nothing I could do except wait until she is single again so I can fulfill the role I was promised. Every few months I would text her seeing how she was doing, just to see if she was still dating that guy or not (also known as Date Camping). The first 3 months her and I would make small talk here and there, but after the 4th month she stopped responding. A few months after that, her boyfriend texted me to back off and leave her alone. Obviously I don't want a physical confrontation so I left it there, never contacted her or him again. She broke my heart by saying she wasn't ready yet, and being ready for someone else even though I was supposed to be the successor. So I decided to wait out the relationship (Date Camping) until it ended so I could snoop in. Am I in the wrong here? Or was my strategy smart? --- The n00b of MBH and CE - and proud of it! You should text her back and remind her that she promised and if she makes excuses you should stand by your word and your stance. Make her see reason by writing her some poetry and then trying to tell it to her in pieces when she doesn't want to hear it.
