Why does a fat majority of Hispanic music have the exact same beat? It goes like boom, ti-boom ti boom, ti-boom ti boom, etc.

You know what I'm talking about if you can picture it. I can't name a specific song but surely if someone posts one it will have that beat in mind.

Do you mean reggaeton? That's like asking why every almost metal song has electric guitar in it. Genres tend to have certain conventions. Reggaeton isn't the only genre of latin music

its called a style. Genres use familiar beats constantly. Its not unique to Hispanic music or reaggaton

Northern Mexican music was influenced by German polka. That's probably where the beat comes from. But, yeah. Its a style of music, man.
