LeoRavus 10/17/21 7:21:39 PM #6:	Unfortunately deer have to be culled. We already exterminated their natural predators from this area and they're dangerous. I've hit 3 of them with my car. I had to get my own hunter's license then. I took the gun safety class but I never bothered keeping up with the license. I didn't enjoy deer hunting much. I preferred rabbit and squirrel hunting the most. I don't hunt as an adult at all. --- You know how fads are. Today it's brains, tomorrow, pierced tongues. November in high school was glorious. Right after rifle season opened. Kids would bring in deer jerky and hand it out everywhere at school. It was glorious. I mean, where I am from in Appalachia, deer seasons (rfile, bow, muzzle loader) helped a lot of families feed themselves throughout the year. Even families with money. You get those deer butchered and froze and you've got a nice meat supply on hand. My favorite was squirrel with gravy over mashed potatoes. Wonderful! Other than like safari trophy hunters, people more or less eat what they kill or just give to somebody who will.
