  • Super Mario 2 (Japan) - More levels, same story.
  • Super Mario 2 - Dream, didnt happen.
  • Super Mario 3 - Stage Play, Mario propaganda, didnt happen.
  • Super Mario Land - Side Quest to some island.
  • Super Mario World - Side Quest to Dinosaur Island.
  • Super Mario Land 2 - Side Quest to Mario Island (they gave this mother fucker his own island, servants, and castle.)
  • Yoshis Island - dont even get me started.


We dont really take up the fight against Koopa in the Mushroom Kingdom again until Super Mario 64.

Doesnt the instruction manual for World state they are vacationing on Dinosaur Island after the events of SMB3?

No doubt 3 evokes a stage play, but it could be depicting actual events.
