The Tall Midget is a huge misogynist. Biggest one on this board for sure.

It's misogynist to repeat the feminist credo? I believe that women are equal to men and thus fully capable of defending themselves.

It's almost like these "protests" are just an excuse for degenerates to act how they please and still think themselves to be morally superior.

It very misogynistic when all youre doing is using it to mock them But you already knew that

Look at their source, it isn't. In fact they corroborate that there were many witnesses and multiple people who recorded it. The only thing that was actually challenged was the emotiveness of the language used, which is ironic seeing how that article is written.

Not at all, the part of the feminist credo that I 100% believe is that they're strong, independent, and equal to men in every single aspect. My issues is that whenever comes the time to have any accountability, which has nothing do to in this scenario, that strong and independent part goes out the window. I believe women are perfectly capable of defending themselves.

Some are, and some arent. Which is just like men. Some men can defend themselves, and some cant. So, you are using the credo to mock them

Yes, of course if someone is, let's say unconscious or held at gunpoint, I certainly cannot fault them for not being able to defend themselves properly in most cases no matter the gender, but in this case she was perfectly capable of defending herself as well as most men could. I don't know why you people are being so sexist as to imply she was less capable of defending herself because she's a woman. Shameful, really.

Also, it is actually suggested that during such incidents, the safest thing to do is report what's happening to the police and to NOT get involved. In her case, I would have immediately informed the police, for whatever good that would have done (lol Philly), but I would not have lifted a finger to help her or him, if it was a man. I mean, if you wish to white knight, do away, but don't be surprised if you shot or stabbed as a result.

She tried to defend herself by pushing him away, and it didnt work. She did so for 40 minutes. Not everyone can fight. The same thing could happen to a guy. In a fight or altercation, its not uncommon for one person to be stronger than the other. In that case, gender doesnt always matter. Sometimes, you try and cant defend yourself Thats basic knowledge that youre pretending to not know by acting like she could obviously defend herself when it was obvious she couldnt So, you the sexist one, and its pretty obvious. But thats what you do on this board. Troll, and play the obvious sexist So, nothing new here

And I think in this case, they probably could have gotten involved. But even if they didnt want to, alerting the cops would have been a great idea. Its too bad that it took like 40 minutes before someone decided to actually do that And once someone did, it only took them like minutes to get to the next stop and help her. But instead, some people just let it happen without even alerting someone Or even asking her if she was ok And helping someone isnt always white knighting. The fact that you say that shows that youre doing nothing but trolling

How about an NPR article quoting the literal District Attorney?

https://www.npr.org/2021/10/22/1048362202/septa-train-passengers-recorded-rape-without-calling-false-prosecutor

What a shock, the police lied about what happened. That totally never happens. Interesting how as soon as the thing they outrageously lie about fits someone's narrative, they readily believe while as if it had been something counter to their narrative (say... the countless stories where police assault or kill an unarmed person and claim he was aggressive only to be disproven by video footage later), they'd call BS immediately.

Just imagine if twitter had started a witch hunt to dox the people who were on the train, thinking they were scum bags, before knowing the truth.

I'm confused. The story was exaggerated, but not bullshit. At least, based on the articles provided... The attack did happen. And somebody did film it, as it was handed over for the investigation... And while people were getting on and off at every stop, at least some should have seen that something wasn't right at some point... So, why are people saying it's bullshit?

The attack happened (well, the guy is claiming it was consensual... I'm sure w/ the video footage it'll be clear to the jury).
What's bs is the moral outrage over the "bystanders".
People weren't just sitting there the entire time, they were getting on and off at various stops (duh), and the events only escalated from harassment to assault near the end supposedly, so most never even saw it get really bad.
there were apparently two people that did see it all, and one recorded video and contacted the police so it could be used as evidence.

Completely contradicts the narrative of a train car full of people doing nothing and taking videos to post on social media or whatever.
People online were getting very riled up by this false narrative, to the point where any of the witnesses probably would've felt justifiably scared shit less to come forward.
That's extremely dangerous for society, to not only assume guilt before trial for criminals, but also for random bystanders not actually committing even an alleged crime (as the DA notes in the article I linked, even if they were as callous and indifferent as alleged, there's no such law in PA that requires them to do anything anyway).

I think the problem is that we still don't have all the information. Or know what the passengers actually saw or knew... Nor will we know unless someone releases what the surveillance system saw. For example, people were getting on and off a lot, but some were probably there for more than one or two stops. Also, there was time between each stop. Some may have been on long enough for what was happening to look strange. But even if that were true, no one would come forward claiming that because it makes them look bad. Even if someone was sure something look off, it looks bad if they didn't tell anyone. Obviously, they didn't commit any crimes, but it would still look bad it people did know what was happening, but didn't report it. The problem is we'll most likely never know for sure... But I could understand why people would be mad if it were true that many people just tried to ignore it...

As for society, it's been dangerous. This is just like cancel culture, which is something else we should get rid off... Cancel culture is probably part of why many are afraid to come forward...

Almost always it's lying to put someone in prison, not the opposite.
If the people in question turn out to have some connection to the DA or something like that, then fair enough. I doubt that, though...

Taking a video as evidence for the police is helping.
No one is required to physically endanger themselves to stop a crime, no matter how much you whine about it.
