Not gonna lie. I prefer Ina's artist outfit the best. The party dress is I think a little too asymmetrical in the color scheme, but I totally dig everything else about it. The ribbons, the hat, the patterned skirt, the boots.

I on the other hand, loves everything including the asymmetry design XD

She apparently does the hunt while not streaming as well, and stated that including off-stream hunts, it has been more than 100 hours, even before yesterday's 5 hours stream.

Such is the life of shiny hunting, sometimes you get a shiny fast, sometimes it's taking ages.

My own shortest hunt record was 45 minutes on soft resetting and 6th egg on hatching, and my longest hunt record was 3 months on soft resetting, and 3k-ish eggs on hatching.
Unfortunately I couldn't remember my record for regular hunting in the grass/water, since I rarely does that. Most of my hunts are via SR and hatching.

Which is funny considering calli is already losing it after only ~800 resets or so. I...don't think she understood the Hell she was walking into.

Looks like there's 44, so I'm guessing they start with 4 rounds of 11, then the top 3 in each go to the final round of 12. Or they could do the top 6 in each go into a second round of 12, then again the top 6 in each go to a final round of 12. Guess we'll have to find out.

God no. It's clear looking at the sub counts of the Nijisanji girls, and how long it takes for them to get monetization enabled that it's very clearly not working out in the US with that strategy. It's frustrating to see them just pump wave after wave with seemingly no care about actually helping the ones they have already, actually GROW, and that they're taking a quantity>quality approach.

I mean, the VTuber Boom is basically over. Hololive is a brand kind of like "WWE" where the name itself is essentially selling the subs, not necessarily the content--especially during initial growth. Nijisanji basically missed the boat on being able to do that on the EN side and is coming over at a kinda rough time.

That said, this is the last wave. And most of them sitting in the ballpark of 100k~200k is by no means bad, when most VTubers stall out and stagnate around the 20~30k mark if they're lucky. One of my favorites, Ichimaru Ichi, has been at it for... over 3 years now, I think? Stuck at 15k-ish for... a long time. Same thing happened to ZonBko until she did a month long almost constant streaming push, and got a bump from Ollie. She was at ~7k-ish and is now at 18k. I mean Sony launched a VTuber project that I think topped out at 5~10kish subs on their biggest one.

But, I might be bias. I really don't watch Hololive or HoloEN at all since NijiEN debuted. Numbers are by no means bad though.

NijiEN is a bit more loose, but HoloEN to me has higher quality of streamers overall. I'm afraid NijiEN just doesn't have anyone on the level of Kronii for one thing, and there's slightly less yuri baiting. Kronii/Mumei kinda thing I don't think exists yet on that level in NijiEN. Though I will admit, I rarely ever watch HoloEN 1st gen, aside from Ina, really.

Probably the one that comes closest to me to Holo quality is Rosemi, who is just this insane natural comedian. But even then, it just kinda feels like something is missing. Also she kinda has to do everything, while HoloEN tends to have a lot more overall production value and bigger behind the scenes staff. Also shout outs to Ame for doing the Halloween stream. NijiEN hasn't done anything remotely like that yet

That's not even to mention HoloJP, who have a bunch of monster streamers and talents. For how many people are in Niji overall, it still feels like they have less talents than Holo. NijiJP has like Kuzuha or Tsukino Mito, but even Mito kinda feels like she hasn't had a huge moment in a long while. Not many times you can do crazy shit on April Fool's without feeling too repetitive either. Their concerts also feel a bit less professional than something as grand of a level as the types of lives say Suisei does. Heck, Astel did a better show than I've seen any popular NijiJP guys have ever done, and I'm pretty sure he's given a bit less budget and assistance. At that point it's just talent diff

But on another hand, I've grown so far away from Kiara in particular. I used to really enjoy her streams, but over time she kept shedding what made her entertaining. Like she's clearly perverted, and her thing with Calli felt entertaining and on the side. Why try to distance herself from all that shit? Her stream with Kronii in D2 reminded me why I found her entertaining to begin with, and that's clearly her like baseline personality. What even is she without it?

Nijisanji is a different experience and I like that. If it was just more Hololive, then I wouldn't be subscribed to any of them because I can just get that from Hololive.

Anyway, best of luck to the new male streamers of NijiEN. It's especially tough out there for male vtubers and I don't think there are any big primarily-English-speaking ones. I wonder if Hololive is planning anything like this.

Hololive gives me all the content I need. Shit I already have a hard time following the few I try and watch regularly (Watame, Miko, Lamy, Mumei), not to mention others I like watching when I can like Gura. I really wanted to become a regular watcher of Koyori but feels like I've hit the limit of how many I can follow without going insane.
