A while back I ordered a video game and it never came. It got lost somewhere between UPS and USPS(it looks like USPS never scanned it in).

It was during Christmas rush so I could never even get the delivery companies to talk to me, and they kept passing off blame on other stuff when I did get to talk to them. They did not help.

So I escalated to Gamestop and finally got ahold of someone. The gamestop employee said, "No problem, we'll send a new copy"

I received a copy of the game the next day. I checked my original USPS tracker and it now said delivered. And I never received a 2nd copy of the game from Gamestop.

Did Gamestop use some sorta hidden merchant line to bitch at my post office on my behalf, or what? I'm assuming they got in touch with the PO and nudged them to go look for my parcel.
