I'm not one to defend Ted Cruz, but Nazi Salutes are in fact free speech.

I'm not sure what the context of this is but I can't exactly criticize the man without knowing more. Is he saying doing Nazi Salutes is justified, rational, or ethical? Or he is just defending their legal right to do so?

What's the context of his rant? Is nazi salutes being made illegal and he's mounting a first amendment rescue effort, or did someone say they didn't like nazi salutes and he randomly shouted NAZI SALUTES ARE DEFENDED BY THE FIRST AMENDMENT YOU CAN'T CRITICIZE THEM!
