Appears to just be the common cold but really strong for some reason. Like people are going to the hospital for this and testing negative for COVID & Flu.

Which by the way all 3 are around at the same time.

I had a cold a couple of months ago, and it lasted almost a full week. It was so persistent, I actually went and got tested because I thought it might have been Covid.

I wonder if it's possible people who practiced social distancing and used masks skipped the time they annually caught the cold as a result, and the long amount of time from the last time they had it resulted in the symptoms being harder? That's what my doctor suspected it was

i mean - many people over the last near two years have shut themselves in and legitimately not left their confines since covid blew up.

this was only bound to happen when people completely or near completely shut off exposure.

We had a nasty cold go through our house a little over a month ago. Knocked everyone around. Everyone tested negative for Covid.

I had a bad cold a few months ago and then I was heavily exposed to the same virus a few weeks later and did not get sick again.

The immune system works when it wants to.

Visited family 2 weeks ago, one of the kids had a bad nagging cough and lots of drainage with an occasional fever

My wife and kiddo both caught it, both had a bad cough and my wife is losing her voice, but no fevers

I have some mild allergy symptoms

Everyone has tested negative for COVID

My household currently has a cold. For me it's been mild at times and super awful at times. Probably don't have this, but things affect people differently. When I've had to venture outside for work and stuff I feel like I've been hearing more people sniffling and coughing and such.

I had one about a month ago. Real nasty clogging and drainage for a week straight, then a persistent runny nose the next week. Also tested negative.

I don't usually get anything more than a stuffy nose, but this one's been nuts.
Had a burning sore throat, then sneezing, then a mild cough...

I'm only just now getting over it.
