* obviously not literally every Amiibo. But I have at least one of each one that has been released except for the animal crossing cards. I also don't have the gold/silver monster hunter Amiibo because they were only available through sweepstakes and fuck paying the scalper prices on that shit.

Anything not listed should be considered "meh" tier.

God tier Amiibo:
Baby Metroid - Made of multiple unique materials. Really creative compared to the rest of the line. A lot of care and love went into it you can tell.

BotW Guardian - poseable arms is so fucking cool and it was the first huge Amiibo and it's still today the most detailed Amiibo we ever got.

Squid Sisters + Pearl & Marina - these are really snazzy. They're shiny, have unique poses and strange body proportions with regards to their arms and hands that could have made their designs look bad but somehow they pulled it off even with all the bizarre sucker geometry on Marina. Definitely the freshest Amiibo around.

Top tier:
All 4 Kirby series Amiibo - it's difficult to describe unless you feel them side by side with the smash bros equivalents but the Kirby series feels sturdy and solid in a way that smash doesn't. Kirby smash Amiibo were also in wave 1 of the launch so you can see quite a lot of progress.

All 4 fire emblem series Amiibo - shame that I don't think we'll ever get any more but Metroid surprised us so there's still hope I guess. The 4 we did get, Alm, Celica, Tiki, Chrom, are extremely detailed and nice to look at next to each other.

Loftwing Zelda & Midna + Wolf Link - two insanely detailed Amiibo that put the rest of the series to shame except the guardian. As straight pieces of art they're fantastic.

Monster hunter stories 1 Amiibo - I love the gimmick of how you can pull off the riders and swap them around. They're also very intricately done. Capcom has been making more Amiibo than Nintendo lately.

Solaire - git gud

High tier Amiibo:
smash DLC Amiibo - They clearly built on years of experience with these. Not only are they more detailed than the rest of the series but the build quality is also better.

Detective Pikachu - I thought it was dumb at first and I was right. The quality is still pretty good however.

Mario Cereal - lmao this shit was great. The cereal was also basically just lucky charms.

Meh tier:
Nothing interesting about these.

Low tier:
Skymiibo - these shit look ugly and have bad balance and I hate them and the cars that came with them are also shit

Qbby - if you told me there was an Amiibo more boring than Steve I wouldn't have believed you unless you had this to show me. It's worth a fuck ton though. I only paid $10 for it game included lmao.

Animal crossing cards - there's just way too many of them and they're too expensive. I have one the ones that came prepackaged with shit.

Garbage tier:
Loot goblin - Activision really gonna fucking copy paste the cute but deadly figure into an Amiibo stand and sell it for $20 fuck off bobby kotick. The base ain't even the same size as they others so it has fitting problems.

Shadow Mewtwo - fuck this thing for existing

Yarn yoshi / mega yarn yoshi / yarn poochy - these things are super stiff and not fun to play with at all. The NFC tag is also hard to read.

Piss Link Tier:
Piss Link - I don't know how you fuck up the main character of one of your biggest franchises this badly but they did it.

I think the best amiibo I own is the Smash Dedede one. It's just high quality. Chunky, good texture on his cape, looks the part.

Same, I never even took him out of the box. He's sitting right there on the top of my printer. He's one of only two Amiibos that I own, with the other being the 8-bit Mario that they released for the 35th anniversary; I got that one at Gamestop used, with no box, for like $6. Super worth it.

Dedede I spent like a $30 premium on because he was rare at the time. I just really fucking wanted him.

What the hell is Piss Link? Cause all I think of when I read that is a LoZ version of those car decals of Calvin peeing lol.

I remember kinda being interested in a few Smash Bros. amiibos when they were coming out, like Captain Falcon. But I've still never purchased a single one ever, unless you count a single Animal Crossing villager card (that I still haven't used yet either lmao).

I do still kinda want a Captain Falcon amiibo and maybe the Banjo-Kazooie one. Has a Waluigi amiibo been made yet? I feel like there's gotta be one.

Amibo are cool for collectors I guess but it basically promotes locked on-disc DLC which is a scummy practice. If theyre gonna be that shitty to their customers, might as well fight fire with fire and buy an amibo spoofer

Thanks. It's all Nintendo shit basically. The only completely unrelated thing I've got on these shelves is the Sega Genesis Sonic statue that came in the limited edition Sonic Mania. Everything else is otherwise an Amiibo, official product, licensed merch, or Nintendo published.

does dust get in there? there is a gap at the doors yea? for the klingsbo.

is the subglasses display case open or closed? mainly worried about dust.

Very little dust gets in the Klingsbo. There's more dust in the sunglasses case as it's wide open but still way less dust than stuff I have sitting on the top.

i think this is my only option in aus. i remember seeing it in the store and the door doesnt swing open it slides off. and has prettt large alits on each side.
