You're having Thanksgiving dinner with your spouse, daughter and his boyfriend Chim-Li who she invited to introduce to you.

When your spouse says "So Chim-Li , what church did you say you go to again?"

To which he causally replies while helping himself to a second helping of carrots "Oh, I don't go to church. I'm an atheist." then eats some peas.

my reaction? Divorce my wife. I'm Agnostic, so I would expect my wife to not be that fucked in the head. If she is, then clearly I made a bad decision and need to atone for it, by getting a divorce, and I'd make sure she wouldn't get a fucking dime of my money. I don't tolerate ignorance, racism, or religious bigotry in my home.

my apologizes, I didn't read the part where her actual name was chim lee, I thought she was doing it on purpose. Rest still stands though. I have no patience for people who bring religion up in a conversation not needing it.
