Try to explain to a rational adult with at least a BA degree why these two stats are separated.

Dexterity is a measure of probability that you deal a successful hit.

Dexterity is the accuracy and has a mental element in reaction time.

For example, leveling up your strength should increase your ability to draw power from a bow and arrow. This seems like a very rational thing in real life.

But often times in a game you'll find leveling up the bow and arrow as a finesse or dexterity skill lol
