Current Events > Scenario: You're taken to a secret facility and escape but have no proof.

You're walking along one day when you see some woman floating through the air with her limbs flailing behind her like cooked spaghetti and objects floating around her. Manhole covers fly off the ground, cars start to levitate, trash from the street starts orbiting her.

Before you can make heads or tails out of it she is hit by some kind of electrical charge and shoved into a van by men in uniforms. Then before you could spell your name someone tackles you and throws you into a van too.

After a long trip you find yourself in somekind of large facilitiy. You're stripped and dressed in a white boilersuit. Then carted down long corridors with windows showing cells or laboratories too quickly for you to grasp in detail. Everywhere you look you see weird shit. Glowing orbs, creatures that don't seem human, things that look like robots, pods full of who knows what, people strapped to beds, people walking on walls, doctors doing surgeries. Strange sounds and screaming from the distance. It's like every conspiracy has come to life and been sectioned.

Then you're tossed into a small cell, alone with your thoughts. After an unknown amount of time 2 men in uniforms enter the cell and size you up like you were an Amazon parcel in a warehouse.

"So what's this one?"
"Nothing special. Guy saw a 14-7B, just gotta scrub him."

One of them pulls out a syringe full of green liquid and advances on you, menancingly. But before you can react He's grabbed by a big black British man called Wesley who is wearing a similar boilersuit to yours except his his covered in blood.

Wesley overpowers the guy and manages to inject him with his own syringe. Causing the guy to topple over. Dead or unconcious you don't know. The second uniformed man tries to grab Wesley in a panic but Wesley manages to dig his fingers into the guy's eyes and one swift knee to the balls sends him down for the count.

"Oi mate! Come on! We gotta get out of here! This is a right proper chance to escape!" Wesley yells as he pulls you by the arm and you start running through the facility. You hear alarms start to blare but you manage to get outside before the doors lock.

Once outside you realize you're on top of an exetremely high hill, there's no where to go but down. Suddenly with a whoosh Wesley is caught in the neck with a dart. A second one misses your face by an inch.

"Arggh!" Wesley squeals in pain and falls to one knee. "It's too late for me lad! I'm red reels! You gotta get out of here! Get some help!" he says as he pushes you down the hill moments before he is tackled by more men.

You roll and roll painfully for a long time until you plummet off a steep edge and land with a crash into the back of a pick-up truck that was driving by, luckily full of hey that breaks your fall. Shortly afterwards you pass out from the pain.

You're awoken by the driver grabing you by the throat and throwing you out of his pick up truck onto the cold hard ground of a truck stop.

"Hey you lousy bum! Get the fuck out of my car! Go hitch a ride elsewhere! If I ever see you again I'll kill ya! I swear this country's going down the tubes" He says

Now you find yourself at some random truck stop in Ohio, with nothing except the clothes on your back, bruises and wild stories to tell. No idea how long you were in the truck for or where the facility was.

What do you do?

Well I would guess I was pretty screwed as they would know who I was.

Two choices are to try to backtrack the road and find the hill so you at least have a location or fuck off and keep your mouth shut hoping you are more trouble than you are worth.

If I can just casually encounter this stuff walking down the street and me and my late great associate 'Wesley' can raise that kind of hell without them having an effective way to shut it down before it starts, I'm guessing they're not as competent as the crazy stuff they're allowed to know about would imply and it might be worth looking into what transpired.

If my character's been exposed to anything bad or good I think it'd be better to try and find out rather than just lay low and potentially let something terrible develop. It sounds like these guys would have no chance against some makeshift armor (non metal) and maybe having one successful escape could work as leverage for bargaining.

Also I think it'd help giving into the satsui no hado for good measure because if if you're gonna go back there you might as well fit in and throwing fireballs would be handy.

no matter how advanced or technolohical society gets, nothing will ever stop human error being a thing

never underestimate that.

Wasn't it Michaele Salahi who just walked right through 2 security checkpoints at the Whitehouse and had dinner with Obama and the leader of India?

And that story of that nuclear missile site that left it's Silo doors open and a pizza delivery man literally just walked in and found 1 officer asleep at his post.

The officers defense was "What we do this all the time!"

It's why Big Brother and NWO conspiracies are so bullshit. Only fiction that adds up is Brazil. Some kind of huge one world Government would be full of fuck ups and mistakes.
