A2: Most of the horror/suspense elements. Dunno why but creepy eldritch horror has grown on me the past decade. A3: The... erm... ~~end of Yuri.~~ For someone who claims to have as much agency over you, ~~Monika leaving you there the whole weekend with a dead body and then expecting you to still appreciate her becoming a screensaver is... uh...~~ A4: Above average for surprise creepy, but my visual novel range leans low since it's not a preferred genre. For 'pure' VN I'd go with Umineko though it's not beginner-friendly. Q2. What did you enjoy about this game? The characters and creating the poems was surprisingly fun. Q3. What did you least enjoy? I got stuck at times because I didn't know what to do. Especially with the scene where ~~Yuri stabbed herself and we're stuck with her decomposing corpse~~ Q4. Major Spoilers: From the moment when Sayori starting saying suicidal things, the game suddenly took a deeper, darker turn, after enduring 90 minutes of "Why the hell am I playing this?". And her final poem. Discovering her hanging there. I wondered if I should have said things differently. And I thought the game was really over. But no. Then when the title screen reappeared, her image was all distorted, and starting a "New Game" had this real eerie sense about it. They had me hook, line and sinker from the moment I had to choose which girl to help for the festival. ~~Also, as someone else mentioned, deleting files on my computer to continue the game.
