Holy shit wtf, dude was leaving them multi minute drunken scam messages at 2 am, calling over and over. I blocked the number on their landline's backend along with enabling anonymous number blocking, but i'm worried since she picked up at least once they'll spoof a new number and start harassing her again. Looks like a number out of Las Vegas, if it's not going through a relay.

Yeah can't say i've seen this tactic of calling in the middle of the night and leaving rambing messages trying to get someone to pick up instead of just reading from a script, before

They do tend to get a bunch of scam callers since they're in their 90's, and when my grandfather was alive, he'd sign up for all this bullshit where he'd put his phone number down, but they're pretty savvy about avoiding scams and the signs to look out for, it's just a matter of the time of call and the fact their voicemail loudly plays in the house so they can "screen" calls without having to get up which caused the issue.

This guy was clearly drunk, slurring his speech and whatnot. I hope the call blocking does the trick.
