UnderUrMattress 11/13/21 7:31:55 PM #112:	51st Place: Young Link On Day 1, the 3 Links were among the last four characters to be saved, so one could assume that all three of them weren't going to do so good this competition. Toon Link and Young Link both made it to the two save portion however both are now out. Young Link just BARELY misses the top 50. YL struggled quite a bit in the one save rounds so as a result, he has the highest ASP of everyone eliminated that made it to the two saves portion of this competition. With YL being eliminated, Zelda is the only character left to represent the LoZ series. Also, Melee now has the lowest percentage of characters remaining. Finally, no more Noble 9 characters remain from Melee are left in the competition. But the only characters that were in the Noble 9 from Melee were variations of characters that already debuted (Dr. Mario and Young Link). With this in mind, I forgot to add Zamus into the Noble 9, so Samus has two lives and Brawl (yes Brawl) has two representatives! One final thing not related to YL or the Noble 9. Joker has now passed Piranha Plant for second place after it's been the Plant and Duck Hunt in the lead for the longest of time. Pyra is not far behind for third place. That was a mouthful, now for something special to celebrate our TOP 50!!! If anyone wants to remake this be my guest. I got this idea from Johnbobb. Friendly reminder: Tomorrow's thread will be up around 2 PM EST. If you want it to feel more like a user-contest where you can actually affect the results, trades are good for that. Otherwise it'll get super stale with the same characters in the top 10 every year. Plus, I like the bonding and user interaction that trades bring as well. Unlikely alliances and new friendships made.
