Wow. Even rubber bullets can be lethal at that range.

Its air soft lol

I'm not sure about that. Check out the recoil on the guy in green + the holes in the paper.
I've personally never shot an air soft handgun, but surely they wouldn't produce the same levels of kickback and size of holes, right?

I was expecting the cop who talked for like thirty seconds about the importance of firearm safety and his great expertise.

He immediately shoots himself in the thigh.

In a classroom.

most US police do not have amazing firearms training despite that they are supposed to be "trained". most tend to have around 20hours total trigger time while in training for ~6 months and maybe 100-200 rounds (total) per year for qualifications (i personally shoot more than this in a week, or i used to before the ammo crisis). the vast majority of police service weapons stay in their holsters and collect dust (which can also be detrimental). chances are pretty good most civilians who regularly go to the range, even once a month have more gun training than most police.

good thing this isnt even in the US lol. Id love to know where you get your numbers from tbh. I shot 5000 rounds in the academy. And we have to qualify quarterly with our firearms. that includes my primary handgun, secondary, shotgun(buck and slug), bean bag shotgun, and a 40mm qual. This quarter consisted of shooting with gas masks, etc you cant carry that gun until you pass with it.

The vests say Polcia Civil, so I think this is somewhere in Brazil. I can't say I'm very surprised, given what I know about Brazil.

im talking about US specifically which isnt amazing in context to other countries who use firearms and im not talking academy. as well as qualifications, thats also based on the districts and state. i used to work for a range that helped local police qualify with weapons training. iv seen what they need to do to quality which yes includes pistol, shotgun, rifle (both AR15's and Savage 110's tho those are were mostly for SWAT and special tactics training), 37mm launchers and a bunch of less than lethal options. 90% of those who take the courses put 4 magazines down range with their service pistol (it HAS to be their service weapons), 2 magazines with an AR and maybe 20rounds through a shotgun. twice a year at max. there is more to it than that obviously (positioning, reload drills ect.), but in general from what iv seen and experienced most do not fire much.

hell the advanced pistol courses iv taken that are for civilians, we had to put about 2000-2500 rounds down range over 10hours across 3 days (in better ammo times. they limited it to 1000 now i believe).
