If you reproduce with your parent, you have a total of 50% of chromosones directly from them.

Meanwhile, if your reproduce from your sibiling, you have less than 50% of chromosones from them

It is roughly the same genetic wise. It depends though assuming it's a full sibling. They share roughly 40 to 60% dna
