On a serious note, I played the shit out of a DOS game called Galactix on my old 386. It's basically a Galaga clone with decent graphics and lots of upgrades that made it super addictive.

Thank you! I'd been trying to remember the game I played along with Commander Keen, and it was totally Galactix! Man, I put HOURS into that and my dad would get so mad cause I'd be using his desk.

Awesome, I'm happy I'm not the only one that dumped hours into that game! Now I want to download it again, pretty sure it's considered abandonware at this point.
