If you want an extremely easy, slightly different take on red/blue, get one of the lets go games. It wouldn't let accept my Nintendo Account password no matter how many times I tried or entered it using touch screen or joycons. Skyward Sword vs Link's Awakening is a tricky comparison because you're comparing a 3D Zelda to a 2D one, and that generally makes for fairly different experiences. Revelation34 posted... Part of that is the motion controls, which just didn't work for a lot of people (I've seen the theory that some of the WMP's that were bundled with the game when it launched were defective, but I haven't seen that confirmed), but beyond that, people panned the lack of a proper overworld, the rather annoying unskippable tutorials (dunno if that's been fixed in the remake), the fact that regions get revisited instead of, and a few other bothersome quirks. On the other hand, though, it's got some of the more interesting dungeons, puzzles, and bosses in the series, the upgrade system for items is pretty nifty, and the story is one of the better ones in the series.
