This pretty much. I'd die at 60 my kids would be in their 30's and I wouldn't have to spend any more time working.

Actually yeah if you have kids and youre gonna be around to see them into adulthoood thats even more reason to take it.

Id take it for the freedom and cause you spend damn near 2/3rds of your life either working or commuting so really Id gain time and be able to do shit Id never dreamed of.

It should be easier to accept the deal the older you are. Dying at 72 ain't so bad after living like a king for 25 years.

If I accept this deal, I'd go in my 50s.

Probably. But I think current age is a big factor. Even at 25, the younger you are, the less the deal seems enticing. But if you're much older, or have a terminal illness that would cause you to die much earlier than 25 years, then getting a guaranteed 25 on top of 100 million would definitely be enticing. it's a still a gamble, but a much better one. If the 25 was guaranteed, that is...

Even at 72? Not saying it's a bad choice. Just surprised, I guess...

Personally, it becomes a tougher choice. As my children would still be adults but they'd be young adults. That kind of money is generational wealth so it would set up my kids and potential grandkids at least but I would be dead at 50.

Yeah, I think I do that. Im already 40, so that takes me right around to what should be a retirement age of 65. But considering the years of my life that Id have for personal time instead of working, plus the fact that my family is set for the rest of their lives, I would wanna do it.
