I steal peoples pets and then return them once the families put up lost signs and offer a reward.

The pay varies from week to week but I love my job.

I have been interested in software dev, but have no programming/math experience. Do you have any recommendations for a pathway into a career?

Maintenance director, 45-60k a year. Love it for the most part. Get to work with my hands, flexible schedule, and it's very close to home.

Thinking about going to school to become an administrator, though.

Most places will want a degree in computer science / IT / MIS / whatever else, but if that is not possible, I'd say to start learning programming via codecademy.com or any other free resources to see if you like it / are a good fit, then move up to figuring out what type of programming you'd like (web programming, devops, backend, database dev, etc.) and then if you're really good, try doing leetcode so that you can do well in technical interviews. It is a hard path without a degree though. I've heard of coding bootcamps working as well if you want to try those

Thanks @Chesh, really appreciated. I will start using free internet resources to see if really have interest in the field, but yeah I highly doubt I would have the discipline to become a competent programmer without the structure of college. Facing getting another degree when I'm nearly 30 already is a tough pill to swallow.
