As a fan of the Grizzlies when they were in Vancouver, I can say with 100 % certainty that the Memphis Grizzlies are nowhere close to the worst NBA team in history.

Neither the Grizzlies nor the Thunder/Supersonics are the worst teams in NBA history. Remember the 2011 Bobcats when they won 7 games all season?

A lot of the stars from the Vancouver era are still very popular here. Abdur-Rahim often comes back to the city for visits and there was a night dedicated to him at a Canucks game a few years back, and Bibby and Reeves are still popular figures here, and there's Grizzlies throwbacks all over the place. The dollar was so garbage back then and Vancouver hadn't really come into it's own as a rich city yet.
