It's about the same in terms of quality. It has the benefit of a strong first season, great big budget moments for major fights, and a strong soundtrack.

It falls off hard after the first arc or two. Frankly it exploded early on but it is historically overrated now. Depending on your standards it may be near impossible to keep watching/reading.
