got noelle on her new set. need some beter ones, but this'll work in the meantime. just need more crit rate/dmg. it sure is nice doing 6k on a non-crit hit though.

Honestly, the four piece passive isn't that big of a deal on Noelle but the 30% DEF bonus lets you have some more wiggle room for crit pieces instead of defense pieces.

Don't get me wrong, it is, but Bolide and Gladiator's have pure damage multipliers as their 4-piece which is also pretty good.

Gladiator's biggest flaw is that it only affects Normal Attack and not Charged, although you don't tend to use her charged attacks very often fortunately.

The difference is that husk has a better two-piece bonus than either of those. As for the four piece, it's kind of hard to set up with Noelle in particular because of the way she snapshots. You either have to leave her off the field for a long time to build up charges and then swap in and immediately burst to snapshot it or leave her on the field without her Ult up to build up charges, which is not really how you use Noelle, but in shorter fights, like the abyss, swapping her in after you set up your supports usually allows you to maintain it.

husk also has pure geo damage modifier... And gladiator doesn't affect charged attacks so it's not as great as it seems.

I think the testing showed that with proper snapshot rotations and identical rolls, Noelle in Husk does 10% more damage at all times over Gladiator's while her Ult is up, and 30% less damage when it's down (which is basically meaningless 99% of the time, because you really shouldn't be attacking when your Ult is down)

What that set did to Albedo, though...

The Gorou / Ms Hina thing and Itto is low-key hilarious.

Noelle basically soloed today's domain with everything maxed.

I cannot for the life of me fathom how people manage to do this well with their artifacts. Im happy if I get near 50% CR and 150% CD, yet those numbers appear to be pure garbage here. Would make more sense if you could buy stats, but thats not an option.

A lot of it actually depends on having a weapon that has a crit stat on it, or having a crit stat as an ascension bonus, sadly

Maybe Ill be able to pull it off with Hu Tao and her PJWS. Maybe. lol

Keqing is the luckiest of all, because she has Crit DMG as an ascension stat and can equip Jade Cutter, which is +44% CR. So even before she has any gear equipped, she has a 50% chance to crit and over 100% crit damage.

With relatively minimal rolls in crit rate and a CD helm, it's actually very easy to have near 100% crit rate and over 200% crit damage.

Dark is a whale iirc.
5* weapons can have really high crit balance boosts.

But otherwise, it's mostly luck and persistence. Ganyu's set took me a bit more than a month and almost all my fragile resins, even Kokomi took like 2-3 weeks coz for some reason I kept rolling awesome crit balance clams instead. Meanwhile with husk I'm still at, what, 2 or 3 good Yunjin artifacts?
It took many hundreds of gladiator artifacts from alchemy to get my Klee satisfactory gladiators, too.

You can't whale your way through artifact rng. You're limited to 5 primogem resin refreshes a day and there's only a very limited amount of fragile resin to buy.

Whales get access to 5* weapons, is what I mean.
And those extra resin refreshes do give a good amount of extra artifact attempts, the extra BP resins too

Been awhile since I've posted but I gotta say Itto unga bunga is really fun. Managed to 36* star abyss with a under leveled Gorou, Zhongli and albedo. Might need to run more energy recharge on him but besides that he's really fun to play.

I really love the Ganyu and Kokomi burst combo. Ganyu with her burst + skill then quickly shift to Kokomi, use her burst then skill and start spamming 2 normal attacks and a jump to cancel and the damage she deals is enormous. Whats even better is that Kokomi can charge her burst in her 10 seconds duration already while all Ganyu has to do is use her flower again and burst then repeat. This made farming a lot more easier

So I honestly still can't tell if Hu Tao is OP as shit or the single most overrated character in the game. She is somehow both at the same time.

Qiqi'd constellations read like some kind of sick joke. 15% more phys damage oh boy I can't wait to do 2200 per attack instead of 2000.

Also I fully completed her Clam set and I'm running her in a freeze comp and she's almost OK

Really upset I accidentally pulled Itto.

as with all new characters, Id let the whales get their hands on them and test them out before wishing for them. on paper she seems like a good character but we wont know until a few days after her release.

They're always good though. Even the "bad" characters have their niches and frequently wind up getting buffs later on (like Albedo with his sword and Kokomi with her artifact set).

At this point I just say, pull if the character seems like fun to play. They'll be perfectly viable in all content if you build them up.

Almost feels like Shenhe is a constellation bait.

Ganyu, Zhongli and Venti. All you need, really.

looking like i'll have 4, maybe 5 ten rolls saved up before the itto banner ends. i'm at about 30 pity, so there's hope for an itto. hopefully more gorou at least.

viable in certain situations sure, but Kokomi being a 5* still irks me. shes not worth that type of investment

I can't help but feel that they backed themselves into a wall with early four star characters like Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu and Noelle. They are all so easy to build, have tons of versatility, and have been out long enough that most people have their constellations. Xingqiu and Noelle offer so many roles beyond their primary role that they effectively open up more slots for team variation.

BTW putting Zhongli and Ganyu on the same Banner is the dick move of the ages.

Although I guess it does help that neither are constellation dependent at all. Ganyu's primary source of damage doesn't even improve the constellations, making her arguably the same strength at C6 as she is at c0 assuming you're not running her as a sub DPS.

I wish there was a way I could roll on Xiao without blowing my guaranteed pity. As much as I'd like to have him, pretty much everyone has told me that he sucks at c0.

C1 sounds pretty good if you are running her with Ayaka, as they both benefit.

As someone with a fully built C6 Mona and Venti, I am obligated to run the Morgana Comp

So it Whiteblind better for Itto over WGS? I'm assuming if you run Whiteblind the best artifacts are probably CR/Def%/Geo.

Whiteblind is the best F2P weapon for Itto and Noelle (and mixed build Xinyan)

But Serpent Spine is vastly better on both if they are well geared.

Edit: With the exception on Noelle that if you get god-tier CR rolls on your gear, WB can actually overtake SS

And SS is a straight 30% dmg increase (recall: dmg > DEF > ATK scaling) + almost 30% CR.

C6 lets her rapid fire the fully charged arrow it's a tremendous DPS difference.

C6 Xiao + C4 Jean is Cheat Mode

IIRC Childe + C6 Fischl + Venti + Albedo Elevator with a giant group of enemies is basically infinite damage.

C4 Childe and a ton of enemies = ERRBODY SPLOSHIN
